and is there a gentle, friendly way to say that i absolutely detest polka?

I’m a keyboard player… the gamut… I do play accordion quite well too, but I mainly did rock covers, oldies and various country and western bands through out the playing career. All bars and clubs and showcase venues gigs… got myself a picture in US magazine in 1982 with a group… but that’s another life, another story.
