A horror story, which is also kind of funny. My first batch of black-cap fry ended up being eaten, to my abject horror, by a micromussa colony I that had sprung up on a rock in their tank. I didn’t know they were breeding yet, so one day I looked in their tank, and was all excited to see fry. “LOOK HONEY, I HAVE BABY FISH” I called my wife over. To our horror, in front of our eyes, the micromussa opened up and ate every freaking single one of them before I could even scoop one out. It went into turbo sweeper-tentacle mode faster than I could find a way to get the babies out.
