The anti gay orgs have this image of every gay person being this caricature they have in their mind of what gays and lesbians are.

The same holds true for their attitudes about women.

If a woman is an activist, she’s usually tarred as a fat, hairy-legged lesbian who hates men and who wants everyone to be miserable because she can’t get laid or whatever. Hell, calling a woman you disagree with a lesbian was the favorite insult for the wingnuts before Limbaugh’s idiocy. Now they’re calling women sluts.
