Ugh. Unions are a necessary evil and a rightful option when an employer behaves badly enough to invite the organization. They are in no way a more productive way to accomplish a business goal. I support the right of workers to join a union if they believe it’s necessary. That does not mean that i purge my brain of basic business experience and say that they are a more favorable option than happy employees in a non-union atmosphere.
