What’s with parents now-a-days? They let their kids sit on their ass
eating sweets and playing Video games.. By the time they are 14 you’d have to send em to boot camp to get the weight down to normal…
Shameful parenting.. The only thing worse would be to let the Gov’t mandate care…

I have a theory, for which I have absolutely no proof, that the rise in obesity (and a lot of other socially undesirable traits) is the result of the increased percentage of single parent families and/or families where both parents work full time. Where: 1) the number of single parent families has been caused by government policies (welfare, dramatic increase in unwed mothers, ease and acceptability of divorce, etc.); and 2) the number of families where both parents work has been caused by the increase in the total tax burden (income tax(es), FICA, property, sales, etc.).
