I still find bra sizes rather baffling.

I also find womens’ dress sizes baffling. How can one woman who is, say, 5’7”, and another who is 5’2, both be a Size 5?

Why is that baffling? Bra sizes= The number in my case 34 = the measurement in inches around my chest. The Letter in my case (sadly) A = the cup size or fullness of the breast. So 38C is usually a man’s delight. Most who get implants go up to a C cup. I had a friend that was a 46 FF. She had reduction and was much more comfortable.

As far as sizes. Women’s sizes do not use height and waist, or chest measurements like men. So it is possible for a woman to be 5’6” and still be a size 6, like her taller sister. We do have Juniors, and Petite sizes too. Most women are Misses in size.
