I (we) own and I consider it a dream come true. My parents never owned their own home and now I do and my boys do also (in a few years.) I look at that as success. Congrats!

I’m not sure the exact number of years we have left but it is less than 5. Occasionally he makes noises about wanting to pay the whole thing down, because the interest deduction isn’t much at this point, but…we haven’t yet.
