I was in Houston after Christmas and over New Year’s. The weather was shitty, by which I mean upper 50s-low 60s and rainy. So many Texans walking around with parkas and mittens, shivering, while my family and I are enjoying the balmy weather, coatless and hatless.

Hell, earlier this evening I walked outside in my open-toe sandals to get the mail. Granted, I only have to go about 100 feet to the mailbox and back.
