*sigh* Well, apparently Gov. Northam has basically shut down Virginia for the next 30 days, but the paperwork is as clear as mud with regards to whether or not hotels are covered. And the local news station link goes to the CISA website on critical infrastructure with a section that covers hotels…but only “hotel workers where hotels are used for COVID-19 mitigation and containment measures.”

My supervisor told me the other day that we were considered “essential” in the event of a statewide shutdown, but now I’m not sure if that’s even true anymore. I might be on “vacation” for the next 30 days, folks.
