I’m not entirely sure. From what I’ve read from this article, it seems like the constitution allows it, but the penal code doesn’t, not to mention the fact that it appears that Peru’s membership to the American Convention on Human Rights prohibit signatories from instituting the death penalty, or if it is already on the books, not apply it more widely.

Granted, this is just from several seconds of searching about it, but it doesn’t look like Peru does have it, or at least have the option to use it.
