It was important because it’s what the country needed. The speech doesn’t have anything to do with what you think of President Obama, if you agree with him in any sort of way, or if you wish he would just disappear. That has nothing to do with it. It doesn’t even have anything to do with even if he believed a single word he said.

What is important is he said it… and hopefully everyone listening will pause one fucking minute, and I mean everybody, and absorb the meaning behind the words he spoke.

Words do have meaning… and that works both ways.

it was an okay speech…I think under the circumstances he is sort of limited with what he can convey and therefore somewhat predictable, but he covered all the bases…that’s the way it is…I would have expected pretty much the same from anybody
