And sorry, but no, I also don’t agree that the Pentagon shooter’s ideology wasn’t right wing. John Patrick Bedell’s beliefs came straight out of the far right libertarian movement, and although pretty crazy, they were far more coherent than Leboon’s beliefs.

We’re talking about someone with severe bipolar disorder here. Trying to apply concepts like “ideology”, “motivation” or “coherence” is an exercise in futility, at best.
