Coast Guard has made some bad decisions in recent days, but a call to the White House got it cleared up. and the Coast Guard got orders to stop stopping the ongoing clean-up activities for inspections, but make recommendations instead. That doesn’t seem to be something that would be done by a man trying to “slow down” the clean up.

Even this I can understand. They were concerned with safety, life jackets, fire extinguishers, etc. It’s a very serious situation and mistakes and adjustments will be made. When this is all over we’ll look back and decide what was done right or wrong. For now the best thing to do is hope for the best.
