If you log out and back in, your icon will now show in your comments. For some reason your entry in the DB was missing the flag that says you have a custom icon.

I had set it to not show using the checkbox on my profile screen. I tried the icon, but decided against it, so didn’t click save. It saved anyway, so I disabled it.
