There seems to be an essential component missing in this whole gun debate. We need to start teaching people that murder is wrong. We need to start teaching kids that murder is wrong. Yes, we need to bring back morality into this debate in which was once worded as thou shall not murder.

I think we already teach kids that murder is wrong.

We also teach them that they need to be manly and that if your wife cheats on you you should be wrathful. We teach them a lot of different things. And back when it was written ‘thou shalt not kill’ it was also written that an adulteress wife would be stoned to death, or strangled.

I completely agree that we need to focus on values, but we already teach that murder is wrong— we just teach a bunch of other contradictory shit too.
