From things I’ve read recently about Trump’s evolving inner circle of billionaires, crippling teachers unions (and others) is their grand strategy, in order to 1) directly help the super-rich, 2) undermine major funding sources for dems, locally and nationally, and 3) pave the way for destruction of all public education, so that only home-schooling and “private” education would remain viable —with both funded by taxpayers, nonetheless.
