Capitalism is not inherently racist.
But it inevitably empowers the already powerful and disadvantages the disadvantaged. So, in a significantly racist society, it will exacerbate racism.
That having been said, Capitalism is just an economic system, not a way of life. Itās a tool, and like all tools must be used carefully, skillfully, and with knowledge of how it works and what its dangers and limitations are. It can be properly regulated to be overall a benefit.
But thatās the key - regulated.
The problem is socialism and eradicating capitalism isnāt going to make racism go away. Thatās where Sanders and the Bros fail big time. Hearts may be in the right place but socialism isnāt going to stop racism in itself.
