DADT was better than what came before. Hopefully something better than DADT will be forthcoming.

Yeah DADT would be like if instead of Black’s not being able to serve, they could do it as long as they wore white sheets and gloves over them at all times, or if women were only allowed to serve as long as they wore fake beards…

DADT is degrading and insulting, but for all of that it’s a step in the right direction.
