It’s that (2) part that I’m talking about. The problem is that there are no “ands” or “ors”. SIL says that perjury isn’t often prosecuted because of that. You really need an airtight case. For example, Ivana could conceivably walk back her testimony if it went into open court and she had to testify, and she could (or might not) clarify (or reinforce) what she said in the deposition. But the fact is there was no further fact finding, and the accusation was ultimately not material to the case. Nobody is going to bring a perjury case now, especially because in most cases the statute of limitations has expired (It varies from state to state, even criminal and civil cases).
