Yeah, well, we need the rural vote if we don’t want a repeat of 2016. While we did very well in 2018, we didn’t have to contend with an ossified system that values land over votes. While Trump would love to win cities, if he can win enough shitburghs across the land, then he’ll be laughing his ass off as Bernie takes his popular vote victory and trundles back to Burlington.

Naw. Over 100 of Trump’s electoral votes came in states he won with less than half the vote. If urban turnout goes back up and the protest votes come back to the Democrats (and Bernie is their guy), Trump loses.
