Hi james! LOL! Actually that should read “nuts” instead of “guts”. We all underwent comprehensive psychological testing. At the end of the session, if the psychologist said “you’re goofy as a loon sailor” we knew we were in!

Didn’t you have to get interviewed by ADM Rickover? I remember some of the sub types I went to OCS then NSCS with telling how they had to be interviewed by him, and he’d do it in the strangest of ways.
