If it were to be found that an illegal has not only committed violent crimes while here and he had a history of it back in their homeland (ie, Castro emptying his prisons during the Mariel boat lift) they HAVE to be deported

I said “if they are not a criminal,” which means criminals are subject to many punishments, presumably including deportation.
