re: #89 Gus 802

That’s part of what I was reading about—how the news is a commodity now and is driven by profits and lack of transparency. This is true even for public radio in the U.S. now, though to a lesser extent. My concern, and the info I’ve been looking for, is how do I pick through all the framing, the semantics? How do I judge if something is objective & well balanced? What are the flags I need to look for? I don’t mean obvious stuff like screeching hyperbole & overt partisanship, I mean the more subtle stuff.

The info is out there, it’s just a matter of digging it up.
