Good morning, Lizards. Doing some reading up on Inflation (not massive erections) and I learned that coins got milled edges (the little notches on the sides of coins) because people were shaving the coins down. I have no idea what I shall do with this new find.

I have a cool book on money that has all sorts of interesting facts about money and how it has fared through history.

One thing of note - in hyper inflationary economies, alcohol often becomes a more stable form of currency than just about anything else. It stores well and holds its value. Plus, as times get more difficult, people tend to keep drinking and are joined by those who don’t.

So Lizards might want to brush up on their home brewing skills.
