I know this craze of legislating Christian morality is driven by the Dominionist groupthink “If we make people behave Christianly, God will bless our country”, but… they’re just wrong. Because in the process of forcing people to “behave Christianly” (as they portray it, at least), they are being as un-Christian as it is possible to be.

Since when is this behaving un-Christian? Christians have slaughtered their way across the landscape for two thousand years to enforce conformity to their religious beliefs.

When they don’t have unbelievers to go after, they slaughter each other (Thirty Years’ War).
