I saw that story earlier this morning. In the last Unix environment I worked in, TWO people had to share admin privleges. Neither of them knew the whole password. One knew the characters in the odd numbered positions, the other the even.
I also don’t know that the tech details are accurate - ‘zero’ is not NULL - which, if memery serves is what a very particular unix command that wipes out everything produces. And no, I’m not telling you what it is.
What am I missing here? What tech details? In the article? I didn’t see anything in the article about “zero’s” or “null’s.”
