Free e-books - is there such a thing? I see a lot of apps, not sure which to choose. Lizard help?

I need a new book and am tired of buying them……ya, feeling the new year $ crunch.

You can find a lot of public domain books on iTunes and Amazon. I got Smith’s Wealth of Nations and Moral Sentiments,, De Toqueville’s volumes on Democracy in America along with all of Edgar Rice Burrough’s Barsoom and Tarzan books.

Also check out Smashwords. Lots of free ebooks there. But be warned, many of them are worth their list price. The spelling, grammar and formatting of them is…creative.
