Putin: Russia must “cleanse” itself of homosexuality

MOSCOW - Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered new assurances to gay athletes and fans attending the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics next month. Yet he defends Russia’s anti-gay law by equating gays with pedophiles and says Russia needs to “cleanse” itself of homosexuality if it wants to increase its birth rate.

“Putin’s comments in a TV interview broadcast Sunday still show the wide gulf between the perception of homosexuality in Russia versus the West. A Russian law passed last year banning “propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations” among minors has caused an international outcry.”

Putin sounds just like Bryan Fischer. No wonder those types love Putin.

OTOH, heterosexuals can’t help themselves when they have an overabundance of kids they don’t really want and others to have to take care of by adoption, etc.

And why is it that the vast mistreatment of kids in every area is by heterosexuals?

Because heterosexuals are the vast majority of the population.

Putin is a lot more dangerous than Bryan Fischer. Unlike Fischer, he holds direct political power with very few constraints. The US should consider granting gay Russians asylum, though only after strong vetting and investigation (the FSB would be certain to use such an opportunity to insert agents).
