Perhaps the World Wide Web wasn’t humankind’s best invention? At least when I was running a BBS on my C-64 I didn’t have to put up with that nonsense (just death threats from local Christians in my E-mail).

You must have been pretty well insulated. I’ve heard about end of the world stuff from churches since my childhood, and I was born in 69.
