The NFL is an association of privately owned clubs.

So if you have a problem with players kneeling for the SSB, then organize a boycott the NFL until they pass a league rule making it mandatory to stand for the National Anthem.

Odd that this approach is rarely if ever mentioned…

No kidding. I mean I get it if people don’t like it but you know what, I don’t like rah rah patriotism either but I ain’t trying to destroy the livelihood or attack the patriotism of those that engage in it.
