How about a desperate GOP forcing a Romney-Gingrich fusion ticket?

Reagan took on Bush as VP even after the “Voodoo Economics” statement, so why not reaching for a even deeper level?

That would required Newt swallowing his pride and massive ego and accepting second banana status to a man many in his own party think is already at a disadvantage against Obama. I just don’t see it happening.

It’s kinda like all the proposals for a Obama/Clinton ticket back in ‘08.
