I read the statement in full, and it’s the most bewildering glob of doublespeak I’ve ever read. He’s basically saying no missle defense in Eastern Europe is a better missle defense than having a missle defense in Eastern Europe.

His mention of other missle defense systems is irrelevant. If we have them, we’ll use them regardless of what we have deployed in Eastern Europe.
