Now we get into dictionary definitions and if one has to know it’s an untruth for it to be a lie.

I’m really just going to go hide in a corner and mourn the loss of critical thinking in our society as a whole.

You can actually be less depressed about the lack of critical thinking if you’ll only become more cynical about the likelihood that they know the truth and are dedicated to hiding it.
