How does that work if we are also to believe Trump ran for president to gain stature and bucks and was stunned to have won the election?

He knew he would meet with Kim the whole time he was hoping to have successful businesses that failed. He was planning to meet Kim when he started The Apprentice and shifted to being a huuuuge reality star.
