Personally, I would rather be dead than think that children were going hungry so I could save enough on taxes to buy a few more gallons of gas for my Rolls-Royce.

Guilty elitist? Grateful would be more like it, grateful for the GI bill and for the many other taxpayer supported opportunities that allowed me to escape the poverty of my childhood. People like Angle are even better off and seem to have no conscience or sense of responsibility or gratitude at all.
