It reminds me of early liberal reaction to the invasion of Iraq: we advanced faster than expected and liberals complained is was poor planning. When we had to pause to allow supply lines to catch up they screamed “quagmire”.

Only a true dyed-in-the-wool GOP’er could claim the a straight face that the Iraq war was well planned.
