In most years I’d agree with you. That being said, this year, we have a party that has a serious conundrum. Remember in May when all of us were yelling at Sanders’ supporters and saying ‘it’s all about the Supreme Court, dumbass!’? Right now, that calculus is going on on the other side of the aisle.

Conservatives are trying to calculate whether or not Trump could be contained enough to at least defend the SC and make some progressive gains. They know that if Clinton picks 3 justices for the Supreme Court, it could be locked liberal for a generation. As much as this sounds like great news for most of us, this is apocalyptically bad if you’re a conservative, especially a social conservative.
