The difference between these species of slug, if any, is that the Dem alley cats are not making a big show of “ensuring the sanctity of marriage” and other noxious drivel.

Nor do they generally come back, months or years after the fact, and claim that they’ve been “forgiven” by a higher authority for their past transgressions.
