“Saw a send me your money” type pitch on grandma’s tv the other night about how elderly people in Israel are starving and freezing and what not.

Anyone with any personal knowledge of Israel know if that’s a crock or not?

There are poor elderly people in Israel, yes. But I would look into the actual organization involved before sending them money.
