What kind of seasonal insects or other critters do you have that might come inside with it?

By midwinter, probably just ants. A few beetles. Nothing major.

My great-aunt used to put Christmas ornaments on her ficus. This is the Jewish side, but people would give her ornaments at work and such, and she figured the ficus could stand a little decorating.
