Interesting. I think they really were having trouble filling it, and the arena setting worked pretty well for Mrs. Obama and President Clinton…and there really was a storm threat. The security theory is interesting but the stadium shouldn’t be much more of a security risk than the arena unless there are a lot of tall buildings surrounding it (and maybe there are, I’m not familiar with the area).
