Given his love for Bell Curve and obsession with IQ, this might have to do with a stereotype of a “high-IQ Asian”.

The anecdotal data I have read, it was more the Asian female is submissive stereotype. Given his general misogyny, I’m sticking with that Internet diagnosis. :)
