You say that like it’s a joke, but I see the future that Margeret Atwood depicted in The Handmaid’s Tale as a permutation of where we are headed. I want to put a sarc tag here, but if the fetus-worshiper are in charge for an extended period of time, we are looking at a bleak period until the grow ups are back in charge to fix things.

No question about that. These people still see women as property, and unwanted pregnancies ruin the value of their assets.
