Lots of martyr-type feelings here today among the moderates. I promise to not repeat a slogan to you but please also look in the mirror. It’s very natural; you believe something very deeply and you are “saved” on that topic. Someone who disagrees is “unsaved”. You both get frustrated that the other just doesn’t get it and, since you personally are correct, they must be intellectually lazy.

I was convinced of the situation by mountains of evidence and clear analysis. I don’t believe anything about AGW. I don’t believe in special relativity. I don’t believe in evolution.

I am instead convinced of these things by the science and the facts.

Again, science is not a matter of deeply held beliefs. Deeply held beliefs are for politics and religion.
