Mine, with second place not even in sight, was a cup of beef broth, certainly from a can or jar, on a hospital tray.

Full disclosure: I had been on total IV feed for three days while being treated for acute pancreatitis. Anything I could actually ingest, even calf’s brains, would have been the food of the gods. Things really are relative.

My own variation of Biscuits and gravy, with a poached egg in the middle to spread the yolk.

My homemade gravy is Jimmie Dean Sage sausage simmered in chicken broth with onion, then add the roux. NO MILK.
