As we currently “shelter in place” I keep asking myself what we’re going to do when the 3 weeks are over. I’m not seeing how everything is going to be all better. The curve will theoretically have flattened, but if we all pick up where we left off, it will head back up pretty fast. If we don’t pick up where we left off, a lot of people won’t have a job, a roof over their head, and enough to eat.

My sister asked the same question. A lot of this is based on computer models, and I’m betting that the forecast past the 3-week “social distancing” isn’t resolved in enough detail to be able to advise. We could go three weeks and then find out that all our efforts were for nought. Or, in three weeks it might actually be safe to slowly resume normal activities.
