Israel is not announcing a cease fire with Hamas. Just like Israel didn’t really have a cease fire with Hezbollah.

Israel has negotiated a cease fire with the United States.

Unlike Iran and Afghanistan- and WWI and WWII and many other wars- Israel’s wars are limited in time.

Israel is supposed to take much punishment from the Arabs. Terror, rocket attacks.

At some point it becomes so much that the US allows a minor response.

But it is always limited in time, and certainly limited in conclusion. Israel is never allowed to win decisively.

Because Israel is never allowed to win and the Arabs can never lose, and because the Arabs will never rest until Israel is destroyed, the “peace process” will continue in perpetuity- punctuated by a war process every so often for ever or until Israel is destroyed.
