Speaking of which, I’ll interrupt this discussion for a quick news update. I just came back from Trader Joe’s. My travels took me close enough to a TJ’s in about as extremely far-left a location as I could imagine, so I went.

There were no major signs of any unpleasantness. First I tried to buy some Israeli couscous, but that part of the shelf was empty. I wondered if someone had trashed all of it, or if the store had pulled it from the shelves, and I almost grabbed an employee to ask what the deal was. But then I found plenty of Israeli feta cheese and wine in their respective parts of the store. In fact, I think the Israeli wine was in the “captain’s choice” section.

Now I have to figure out what I’m going to do with all this feta cheese and wine.
