I totally understand. My mom’s family is from east TN. I’ve been in the Nashville area all my life. Some of the worst racism I’ve seen has been in the upper middle class Nashville exurbs Wiliamson county and the like. Half of them moved in from other southern states because of the low tax rates and cheap property values anyway.
