What bothers me about Romney isn’t his underwear…it’s his outerwear, just as boring and unimaginative as Santorum’s.

Seriously I used to find Mitt tolerable and the best (save Huntsman) in the gop clown car. But lately he sounds more and more like a Palin-Gingrich hybrid. It’s all “Obama doesn’t love America” and doesn’t think we’re exceptional and isn’t one of us, blah, blah. You don’t have to be a linguist or ethnologist to figure out what this is code for: Obama—black, Muslim, Kenyan.

My problem with Romney is that he’s a shapeshifter who will say anything, advance any position of momentary expedience to advance his position. He’s the most protean politician I think I’ve ever seen in my lifetime, with no center, no core, he literally stands for nothing but his own avarice and desire. He’s like The Thing, ever shifting and hungry.
